Quay (Sydney)

A lunch booking 2 months in advance shows the popularity of this restaurant by the Sydney harbour. The flawless lunch service was supported by the attentive staff. All dishes came in their beautiful presentation – a distraction from view of Sydney Opera House right in front of us.

Desserts were the anticipated event due to the much celebrated Snow Egg. While impressed by the Snow Egg’s lightness and delicacy, I prefer the 8 Texture Chocolate Cake which was deceptively complex from the outside. Rich, light, sweet, bitter – you can have it all in the cake.
