Summit Restaurant (Sydney)

Revolving restaurants often have a reputation of great views but poor food. Summit Restaurant is probably an outlier of that. I was invited for the special $85 3-course special and did not come out disappointed.

Special menu diners were tucked away at the corner of the bar area but portion size was not reduced. Quail breast entrée was accompanied by a generous lining of foie gras; steamed snapper was fresh; and the limoncello cheesecake had the right level of acidity to cut through the sweetness.

Did I mention the view? Note: a ‘round trip’ will take 90 minutes.
